20Q with the character
This week, I opened a brand new pack of index cards and begin writing ideas and scenes for my Young Adult novel out.
I also checked out a few books on writing young adult lit and just writing in general from the library this week. I've only started one of these and so far there's been some really wonderful tips and advice in it. One of them was to play 20 questions with one of your characters. So, today, after a game of Trivial Pursuit (I won!) I told my dad to ask questions about my main character. Turns out this really does work and helps come up with ideas for your story!

Fathers name? CURTIS
